Change Management
There is no avoiding change, it happens all the time. Some is dramatic and unpredicted, some is thrust upon us by, and some we determine for ourselves. In all of it we may face uncertainty and unwillingness, and might need to help others to change or need help to achieve change.
The following articles are all adapted from material first published by London Connects and, in some cases, eGov Monitor.
Some were also included in material published or quoted elsewhere: click here, but might no longer be available there.
It is always good to have material copied into articles, especially when there is solid acknowledgement of its source. Kent Surrey and Sussex hospitals used a series of Change Management articles in their Draft Guidance Change Resource Pack.
I wrote most of them while I was Programme Manager for Valuebill, one of over 20 National Projects funded by what was then the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, and subsequently became Communities for Local Government.
